The municipal administration loses the funding of 2,390,145.87 euros for the “Light in the suburbs” project, included in the regional Partecipo program, intended to combat degradation and bridge the distance between the suburbs and the city center.
The Region, in fact, self-protectedly canceled the admission to the tender, excluded the Municipality from the final ranking and declared the agreement signed on 15 July last to be ineffective.
The decision was based on a formal flaw deemed incurable. At the deadline for submitting applications, the body’s file did not contain the declaration of the person in charge of the procedure, expressly requested by the notice under penalty of inadmissibility. The file uploaded with the correct name, after checking the content, turned out to be another document: the declaration on compliance with the DNSH principle.
