Five out of seventeen: popular initiative laws do not, historically, have a privileged lane in the Regional Council. Less than 30% of the proposals have been approved to date, while the number of “stocks” is destined to increase in the next few weeks, when the one on “end of life” promoted by the Luca Coscioni association will be filed, which to date has exceeded 8,500 signatures, 3,500 more than the minimum threshold. While waiting for the next formal steps, it is an opportunity to take stock of initiatives that are too often left to moulder in drawers.
