Two days of competitions and six competitions animated the Spezzano Albanese table tennis Open, which brought together athletes and clubs from different Italian regions. After the event in Reggio Calabria the previous weekend, the Calabrian movement returned to host a national demonstration.
The winners of the singles include Mattia De Vito of TT Catanzaro, Roberto Aita of ASD Atlantide and Elio Malizia of Nuova Luzzi. Successes also for Immacolata Aurora Serrapica of TT Pappalardo and Riccardo Trinchera of TT Don Giuseppe Palamà. In the doubles Raffaele Albanese and Gennaro Miranda of TT Magis Viz Napoli won.

Positive results also for the CASPER athletes involved in the Milazzo Open, in Sicily. In the Single M/F Open 2, reserved for the men’s 121-1500 and women’s 9-100 bands, Michele D’Amico took second place and Marco Colica third.
For the FITeT Calabria Regional Committee, participation in the Spezzano Albanese Open and the results obtained outside the region represent a sign of the growth of the Calabrian tennis movement.
