The “column bonus” is underway: from 12pm today on Tuesday 22 September, consumers have the opportunity to submit the application to participate in the contribution from the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy for the installation of electric charging infrastructure for private use.
The applications – according to the law in a note from Mimit – can be submitted through the IT platform made available by Invitalia, the entity managing the measure on behalf of Mimit. For installations carried out from 26 June 2026, applications can be submitted from 12pm on 22 September 2026 to 12pm on 31 January 2027.
In detail, the contribution covers 80% of the expenses incurred for the purchase and installation of charging infrastructure, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros for each individual requesting person. The limit rises to 8,000 euros for interventions carried out on the common areas of condominium buildings. The opening of the branch follows the publication of the directorial decree, signed on the recommendation of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, which defines procedures and rules for the so-called ‘Domestic charging station bonus’.
The measure, foreseen in the multi-year program for the automotive sector defined with the Prime Ministerial Decree of last June, provides for a budget of 68 million euros until 2030.
