Fuels continue to rise in price, with diesel on the motorway approaching 2.5 euros per litre. From tomorrow, however, the price cap set by Eni will allow, according to Adusbef calculations, an average saving on the ordinary network of 9.35 euros on a full tank of diesel and 8.45 euros on petrol compared to today’s price lists. For the green one, Calabria is among the territories where the benefit will be greatest: on average 9.60 euros full.
Today’s prices: diesel up two cents
According to data from the Observatory on fuel prices of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, today, Sunday 27 September, on the national road network the average price in self-service mode is 2.159 euros per liter for petrol, compared to 2.158 yesterday, and 2.377 euros for diesel, compared to the previous 2.357.
On the motorway network, green fuel rises from 2.252 to 2.254 euros per litre, while diesel reaches 2.459 euros, compared to 2.439 yesterday. For diesel the increase is therefore two cents per liter on both networks.
The Eni ceiling and savings: Calabria among the most favored on petrol
Based on the average price lists communicated today by Mimit, Adusbef has calculated the impact of the measure starting tomorrow. On the ordinary network the price set by Eni will be 16.9 cents per liter lower for petrol and 18.7 cents for diesel compared to today’s averages.
The benefits will be more substantial in areas where pump prices exceed the national average. In Bolzano, with diesel today at 2.428 euros per litre, the estimated saving is 11.90 euros per tank for diesel and 10.50 euros for petrol. For diesel, this is followed by Valle d’Aosta, with a lower cost of 10.70 euros and a current average price of 2.404 euros per litre, and Friuli Venezia Giulia, with a saving of 10.50 euros compared to a price list of 2.400 euros per litre.
For petrol, after Bolzano, the greatest advantages are expected in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Calabria: 9.60 euros less at full tank, according to the association.
