Investigations are underway at the Pugliese hospital in Catanzaro on three children who showed up at the emergency room yesterday morning with the same symptoms: diarrhea, vomiting and high fever. According to what has been learned, the children attend the same kindergarten in Settingiano. The first symptoms appeared a few days ago, but despite the treatment administered at home their conditions did not improve. Hence the decision to go to hospital. The doctors therefore decided to keep the children under observation and subject them to some tests to clarify the causes of the gastrointestinal infection.
