The Snals of Vibo Valentia remembers Aldo Romagnino, trade unionist, manager and teacher who passed away. The provincial secretary Antonio Niglia and the entire board of directors join the family, remembering a figure who marked the history of the Calabrian union “with courage and determination”.
“Firm in his principles, but capable of communicating with anyone who advances the interests of workers, Aldo leaves an unbridgeable void, a sense of bewilderment and unease in all of us who knew and appreciated him”, reads the message of condolence.
The memory finds space for the trade union battles, the trips to Rome to support the demands of the Calabrian Snals, but also the moments of discussion and convivial occasions that accompanied the shared path.
“His example remains with us, his dispassionate commitment”, underlines the union. «Time and death, on the other hand, have no power in the face of those who, with their upright conduct and professionalism, have been able to enter everyone’s hearts, and will remain there forever».
