For the child who fell from his bike on the Patti Marina stage there are four suspects for serious negligent injuries: the owner of the company that owns the stage and two organizers of the Tindari Rally event, “notified” also to the mayor, as a necessary act and for his protection in order to be able to have trusted consultants participate in the technical checks.

Meanwhile, increasingly comforting news is filtering out from the pediatric intensive care unit of the Messina Polyclinic, where the 6-year-old boy who was the victim of a serious accident last Saturday is currently hospitalized.
The little boy, who had fallen from a modular stage set up in the Marinoti square, on the Patti Marina seafront, showed clear signs of recovery: the doctors extubated him and, in the last few hours, he uttered his first words after the great fear, calling his mother. The prognosis however remains reserved, but after days of apprehension and constant monitoring by the medical team, the clinical picture seems to have undergone a positive evolution.
The reactivity shown by the little one, who was able to communicate verbally with his parents, is certainly a good sign, even if his condition remains under close medical observation. In the meantime, the Prosecutor’s Office continues its investigations to shed full light on the dynamics of the fall and the safety conditions of the structure from which the child fell while riding his bike.

The investigators have already viewed the footage extrapolated from the video surveillance cameras installed in the square and collected several testimonies. In recent days, some warranty notices have been served, while the investigation file is enriched with new elements useful for defining any responsibilities.

The accident occurred in the late afternoon of October 3 when the child, for reasons still under investigation, fell from the temporary structure erected on the Patti Marina seafront for an event. The violent impact on the ground required the immediate intervention of rescuers and the subsequent emergency transfer to the Polyclinic.
