The founder of Libera, after having participated in the 17th edition of “Happy birthday Dodò”, dedicated to the child Domenico Gabriele, an innocent victim in an ambush by the ‘ndrangheta in 2009 in Crotone, traveled along the dirt road, between potholes and mud, to reach the point in front of the exact place where the gulet Summer Love shattered. Accompanied by journalists Francesca Travierso and Bruno Palermo, he remained alone in prayer for a few minutes, with his face turned towards the sea and his gaze on the beach where, on the morning of February 26, 2023, dozens of bodies of children, women and men were collected.
