Messinaservizi Bene Comune informs citizens that, starting from Monday 26 October 2026, all the city’s ecological islands will reopen to the public, according to the usual opening days and times.
The reopening follows the temporary closure ordered from 20 October due to the repercussions of the regional road transport shutdown, which had compromised the transfer of waste to the destination plants and the regular emptying of the containers.
With the restoration of the necessary operating conditions, it will again be possible to deliver the waste to the collection centers, in compliance with the methods established for each structure.
Messinaservizi Bene Comune thanks the citizens for the collaboration and understanding shown during these days of hardship.
