«Tomorrow I too, together with other activists, will take to the streets of Cosenza for the regional demonstration promoted by the USB, by the student collectives and by many political groups that have always been involved in the territories to protest against the high cost of living and the war economy». This was stated by the deputy of the 5 Star Movement Anna Laura Orrico.

«The policies – says Orrico – carried out so far by the Meloni government appear completely ineffective to counter the economic and social emergency of the country. Just think of the latest, disappointed requests of farmers and hauliers who became protagonists of a vibrant and shared protest which from the south brought urgent and no longer deferrable issues to the national table”. «But – he continues – the list of critical issues that those who govern us have faced in recent years without a vision is long and includes healthcare, transport and work. Especially in Calabria where poverty has become a structural condition for too many families, workers, students and pensioners.” “I therefore hope – concludes Orrico – there are many Calabrian citizens who want to peacefully participate in the mobilization to ask for dignity, rights and listening.”
