I left at 15, from the youth team of the then FC, a lot has changed, a lifetime has passed, the passion for football is still the same, I want to bring the experience accumulated over these years here, putting it at the service of the team. I was close last year, again with Roma ds, now, finally, this ambition of mine has come true.”
“The situation is difficult, but the enthusiasm on my part is at its highest, I want to give more strength to the locker room. From the first meeting with my teammates, I saw guys who made themselves completely available and this gives me confidence. I’m fine from a physical point of view, thank God, ready to play straight away, I’ve always been available, now I have to get into the new coach’s tactical ideas and I’m already mentalized in this sense. I like Mr Modica’s game concepts, based on quick thinking, running and verticalisation, because they fall within my characteristics. I know that I have to get in tune in a very short time, but there won’t be any kind of problem. I would just like to save myself, then, if another one scores, it doesn’t matter. Obviously, if it happened to me I would be very happy, but it’s not a problem. Now we mainly need results, this group seems dedicated to the work, and therefore I am very confident. We have to think game by game, with the aim of bringing more enthusiasm and getting the points we need step by step. I went to the Curva Nord with my father, the dream would be to see the South full as soon as possible, but we know that only results can bring back enthusiasm. This way my teammates will be able to feel the warmth of this audience and our fans and will also understand in this way what it means to wear the Messina shirt.”
