A Saturday evening of passion, between the 18 January Committee and the Democratic Party. With the delegation of the Committee “back and forth” from the Democratic Party Club, where the Federation secretary, Matteo Lettieri, was also present, looking for a solution that – in fact – “wasn’t there”.
In the end, no agreement was reached and around 9.30 pm, the Committee, made up of civic forces and various political movements, chose Giuseppe Belcastro, former mayor of the Democratic Party from 2015 to 2020 (and no longer a member since 2021), as its mayoral candidate. And tonight, in the meantime, at 6 pm the official presentation of the candidate will be held in the hall of the Multifunctional.
