The administrative challenge is starting to come to life in Cosenza, when the vote is set for spring next year.
In recent days, for example, on the centre-right front, the Fratelli d’Italia party brought together the provincial coordination to begin setting the political line to follow, also because the 2027 electoral competition will not only concern the Bruzio capital but also around thirty municipalities spread across the territory.
Present at the meeting were the area parliamentarians, Fausto Orsomarso and Alfredo Antoniozzi, as well as the regional councilors of Fratelli d’Italia, Angelo Brutto and Luciana De Francesco. Work initiated by the secretary, Nicola Caruso, supported by the two deputies, Giuseppe Sacco and Salvatore Palumbo.
And tomorrow the Melonian component should meet again for an inter-party meeting, together with the municipal councilors of the Fratelli d’Italia at Palazzo dei Bruzi, Giuseppe D’Ippolito, Ivana Lucanto and the group leader, Francesco Spadafora, with the latter expected to represent the party, in the administrative elections, in the guise of an aspirant for the position of mayor.
Fratelli d’Italia, therefore, as has been announced in recent weeks, could focus on Spadafora as a candidate for the role of mayor, a profile to be submitted to the entire centre-right team which continues to discuss precisely to draw the identikit of the candidate for the tricolor band, setting the objective of finding the synthesis around a shared name.
