A normal road traffic check turned into a new investigative coup for the Carabinieri of the Bianco Company. The men of the Radiomobile Section of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit have in fact reported a man accused of money laundering and use of a false document as free.
During a territorial control service in Africo Nuovo, aimed at crime prevention and road safety, the military stopped a car whose driver showed a driving license apparently issued by the German authorities. Some suspicious details, however, made the police suspicious, who decided to investigate further. The investigations, also conducted with the collaboration of the competent authorities, made it possible to ascertain that the document was counterfeit. The man was thus reported for money laundering and use of a false document.
The episode confirms the attention and widespread presence of the Carabinieri in the area, engaged daily in activities to prevent and combat all forms of illegality.
