Four other people were found lifeless after the floods that hit Texas. The 4 victims belong to the County of Travis. The balance now rises to 50 deaths, 15 of which are children. 43 people are deceased in the county of Kerr and three in Burnet’s. Yesterday, the Governor Greg Abbott signed a declaration of calamity including the County of Travis which is located about 130 miles north-east of the Kerr, hit hard. “With the persistence of the rain, be extremely cautious if you have to be around,” the Travis authorities wrote on social media. Judge Andy Brown told residents to “avoid flooded roads, to remain tuned to official warnings and not to try to return to the affected areas until the officials declare them safe”. Meanwhile, the search operations of the missing continue.
Yesterday, reports the CNN, 27 girls were disappeared from the Camp Mystic located in Kerr County. The data was announced by the authorities. The camp, a women’s Christian, is located along the Guadalupe river, which has risen by over 6 meters less than two hours during the night.
