The moment is delicate, there is no point in hiding it, and there is little time to lick one’s wounds. With Catania’s heavy 4-0 on their backs and with a ranking situation that leaves no room for interpretation. After three days of the championship, the rossoblù are still stuck with zero points. The knockout of “Massimino” also represented a step backwards from a performance point of view, and was the third consecutive in the championship, after the defeats against Cerignola and Potenza. In between also the elimination from the Serie C Italian Cup at the hands of Sorrento.
A decidedly complicated start for Federico Coppitelli’s team, who now must quickly find an answer on the pitch. The match against Cavese, scheduled for Saturday 12th at 3pm, thus takes on a particular weight after a delicate week for the rossoblù environment. The priority, however, is to prevent disappointment from turning into further pressure. The championship is still in its early stages, but the margin to continue postponing the appointment with the first points is dwindling. On the other side there will be a Cavese who in the last round took a point on the Salernitana field, drawing 1-1 and certainly does not come to this match with the intention of being an extra.
An opponent, therefore, to be faced with the utmost attention, with Cosenza who will have to demonstrate that they have the hunger necessary to get out of this moment. We need the first points, but above all concrete signals. The match against Cavese probably comes at the most delicate moment of this start to the season.

The municipal administration will have to examine different options compared to the complete closure of the sports facility, including the reduction of available seats, the isolation of the sectors affected by the works and a timetable for the works that still ensures the regular playing of home matches. Construction should begin shortly.
