“It is happening once again, in silence and disinformation: the game of differentiated autonomy reopens, but this time with even more subtle methods, under the direction of those who have long pursued the goal of disinterating the unity of the country”. The Regional Councilor Amalia Bruniwhich launches the alarm on new agreements between the government and the northern regions on the subject of differentiated autonomy, in particular on subjects that do not fall within the LEPs (essential levels of performance), such as Civil protection, professions and supplementary supplementary pension.
“This is a very serious passage – explains Bruni – which prefigures a devastating scenario for the southern regions. Giving autonomy on fundamental areas such as health professions means opening up the doors to a mass migration of health professionals from the South to the North, attracted by more advantageous economic and contractual treatments that only the richest regional systems will be able to afford. It is a concrete and imminent risk that would add up, aggravating it, to the already unsustainable health mobility ».
For the councilor, what is profitable It is not a reformbut «a rupture of national balance of the health system, which represents one of the pillars of our Republic “. The danger, highlights, is to get to a “Variable geometry” health servicein which the right to care is no longer guaranteed uniformly throughout the territory, but becomes the function of local wealth.
“It is no coincidence – he continues – that the Constitutional Court, in his jurisprudence, has also indicated stringent limits and precautions in the field of differentiated autonomy. Using these principles would mean not only feeding structural inequalities, but also violating the constitutional pact on which the unity of the Republic is held. If it exists, as it is right, the need to review economic and contractual treatments for all the staff of the Health Service, this must happen within A shared and homogeneous national frameworknot through forward escapes and asymmetrical experiments ».
Amalia Bruni therefore calls into question The Calabria Region and President Roberto Occhiutoclearly asking a political and institutional question:
“The regional government intends to oppose these drifts or does a drawing that could mark the end of the national health service as well as we know it supinely? The usual office defenders, always ready to proclaim imaginary victories, are aware of the dramatic consequences that these processes would have on the estate of our health system? ».
“We will activate all the tools provided for by our system to bring this issue to the attention of the Calabrian legislative assembly. We will claim that everyone assumes their responsibilities in front of citizens, without ambiguity and without rhetoric. The stakes are too high to allow someone to turn to the other side », concludes Amalia Bruni.
