An 80-year-old American woman was killed by an “aggressive” elephant, which attacked the vehicle she was traveling in during a safari in Zambia. Local officials quoted by the BBC made this known.
The attack occurred last Saturday in Kafue National Park, in the western part of the country. In a video circulating online, the large elephant is seen several times overturning the car carrying the woman along with five other people. Keith Vincent, CEO of the group that carried out the safari, specified that the vehicle was “blocked” by the terrain and could not move.
