It is seven dead, including a child, the balance of the crash of a helicopter that occurred today in India. Local Civil Protection reports it to the media. The aircraft was transporting pilgrims from the Hindu temple of Kedarnath, in the state of Uttarakhand, and fell into the Himalayas mountains without leaving the passengers escape.
The authorities have prohibited other helicopter flights in the area, suspending the transport services of pilgrims, very popular among the Hindu faithful who want to visit the temples located on the harsh Himalayan mountains avoiding long trekking. To make the details of the incident Nandan Singh Rajwar, an Indian civil protection official, who specified that the temple visited by the victims is at an altitude of 3,584 meters above sea level.
The accident comes a few days after the crash of a civil plane costing the life of 279 people in the city of Ahmedabad.
