A new international opportunity has opened up for students of the University of Calabria. The Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris and the Department of Civil Engineering, Construction and Architecture of Unical have started a collaboration within the “Architecture Unifies” project, which aims to enhance talents and skills in the field of contemporary architecture.

The first session took place at the Hotel Europa; the second phase took place in Cubo 39B – Room 39B1A of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Calabria.
During the initiative, internationally renowned speakers were present, representing the academic and professional world of architecture.
A distinctive element of the project is the possibility, for a particularly deserving student of the Construction-Architecture course, to carry out a six-month internship in the Renzo Piano Building Workshop studio in Paris. The period will take place between the first week of February 2026 and the first week of August 2026, offering an important training experience in a global center of excellence.
The initiative confirmed Unical’s role in promoting international and high-profile courses, capable of creating a direct bridge between university education and the profession.
