Atp Metz, Sonego flies to the semifinals: beat Altmaier in two sets

Lorenzo Sonego has qualified for the semi-finals of the “Moselle Open”, an ATP 250 tournament with a total prize pool of 596,035 euros which is being played on the fast indoor Arenas in Metz, France. The Piedmontese tennis player, number 42 in the world, defeated the German Daniel Altmaier, number 46 in the ATP ranking, with a score of 6-4 7-6 (6) in the quarter-finals.

In the second half, at 6-5 in favor of the opponent, Sonego canceled six set balls from the German. In the semi-final the 30-year-old from Turin will face the British Cameron Norrie, seventh seeded seed, winner today against the French Kyrian Jacquet with a score of 4-6 7-6 (2) 6-4.
