The story of little Sofia Cavoto kept an entire city in suspense. It is talked about in every home and in context, even now that the disturbing story has ended in the best possible way: because the newborn is back in the arms of her mother and father but, ideally, she is cradled by the whole of Italy. Even the little ones were not left insensitive, as evidenced by the splendid poster displayed at the exit of the“Il Moscerino” nursery-preschool.

«The idea was born from what happened yesterday, it is an emotional gesture. Every job, but especially ours, requires to be accompanied by emotions”, states the manager of the structure, Santino Figliuzzi. «We empathize with the children, with their parents and we also did so in this case. As a father and manager of the nursery, I put myself in Sofia’s father’s shoes. We all felt a little violated, less safe. A vortex of uncertainty has upset everyone, even though the story did not directly affect us: it did not happen on the other side of the world, but in our reference area. Symbolically we made the children experience this story, starting from the happy ending. My first instinctive reaction was to promote a regional mobilization, searching house by house where the little girl was: something unthinkable, however. Then we put ourselves in the shoes of the men and women in uniform, going from the terror of those cars with the flashing blue lights to the joy of seeing them arrive with the baby in the thermal cradle. But, above all, what inspired our poster was the presence, among the men in uniform near the mother, of the father of one of our children, there, on the front line. We too are in those lights, in those people and in those arms and we wanted to bear witness to it with the colors and names of our little ones.”
