The Atlantic disturbance downhill from yesterday from central Europe to Italy will tend to move to the southern Tyrrhenian Sea, triggering, from the late evening of today, markedly unstable conditions of time on Campania and, tomorrow, also on Sicily, with mainly temporal phenomena.
On the basis of the provisions available, the Department of Civil Protection with the regions involved – to which the activation of civil protection systems in the territories concerned is activated – has issued a notice of adverse weather conditions that extends the one issued yesterday. The notice includes the late evening of today scattered rainfall, with a prevalent temporal character, on Campania in extension to Sicily, in particular on the central-northern sectors. The phenomena will be accompanied by high intensity showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.
On the basis of the planned phenomena and in place was assessed for tomorrow yellow alert on the entire territory of Campania and Sicily, on most of Basilicata and on sectors of Lazio, Molise, Puglia, Calabria and Sardinia.
