«Breaking the cloak that keeps the people of Barcelona in check, thanks to a policy characterized by vision, project and strategies»: this is the strong message that Cateno De Luca, leader of South Call North, intended to launch during the meeting “An extra gear for Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto”, organized by the two citizen committees of the “Ragione e Passione” and “Vox Cives” parties and held in front of a packed audience in the auditorium of the Maggiore La Rosa urban park. «Because of us – underlined De Luca – the internal struggles that arose between those who sat alongside and then split seem destined to cease. Barcelona cannot be a bargaining chip. We don’t need to get our hands on the city to exist, unlike someone who would lose control over Barcelona.”
De Luca also announced another appointment with the people of Barcelona, this time in Piazza San Sebastiano on December 14th: «On that occasion we will be able to definitively launch the project for the relaunch of the city. We hope that the driving force for a government of liberation for all Sicilians will start from here.”
