«Today opens the II Biennale dello Strait 2024 with the theme “The Three Water Lines – The Cities of the Future” in thematic continuity with the previous edition. An extraordinary opportunity for international discussion for the entire territory that involves everyone, from civil society to institutions, from students to professionals. Precisely for the latter, more precisely for architects, a high-profile scientific professional training offer is reserved which intends to reverse the concept of training from a mere training obligation to a real professional opportunity. Opportunities therefore for technicians, for administrations but above all for civil society on which the actions of professionals fall».
Starting from this premise, Ilario TassonePresident of the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists of Reggio Calabria, presents the program of events proposed by the Council of the Orderwithin the series of meetings and debates of the second edition of the Biennial of the Strait: “The Three Water Lines – The Cities of the Future”. These, all available free of charge, fall within the scope of mandatory continuing education aimed at professionals; therefore, Professional Training Credits will be issued pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 137/2012 of the Guidelines and Coordination implementing the Regulation for continuous professional updating and development. Text in force from January 1, 2024.
The training program is divided into four days, 18, 19, 20, 22 September, with a rich programme of debates, distributed as follows:
