Blitz Anti-‘ndrangheta in Reggio Calabria. From the early hours of the day, the special operational grouping, with the support in the executive phase of the provincial commands of the carabinieri located in various locations in the national territory, is executing a precautionary measure in prison issued by the Court of Reggio Calabria, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor – District Anti -Mafia Directorate, against 26 people investigated in various capacities of mafia -type association, extortion, recycling, self -laundering, self -laundering. Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, disturbed freedom of enchantments, personal aiding, fraudulent transfer of values, aggravated by the mafia method, as well as crimes regarding weapons.
The investigations, directed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office – District Anti -Mafia Directorate of Reggio Calabria, concerned the Piomalli gang, articulation of the ‘Ndrangheta of particular importance in the criminal panorama of the entire organization, of which the structures and criminal activities were reconstructed.
The details of the operation will be made known during the press conference to be held today, at 10.30 am at the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Reggio Calabria.
