Bypass not to pay electricity: four complaints in Isola Capo Rizzuto

In recent days, the carabinieri of the Lieutenant of Isola di Capo Rizzuto (KR), in collaboration with the Enel technicians, discovered four illegal lifts to the electrical network during targeted controls in private homes. In all inspected houses, a bypass had been installed to evade the counters and subtract electricity without paying it. At the end of the investigations, three women and a local man were reported for electricity theft. The military seized the cables and the material used to tamper the plants. The economic damage is in progress of quantification by the technicians of the electricity company.
