Montalto Uffugo joins the Giro d’Italia for Peace, the mobilization that crossed 90 Italian cities and ended in Perugia on the occasion of the National Assembly of Cities for Peace. The Montalto community symbolically participated in the initiative by displaying the rainbow flag, accompanying the gesture with a commitment to promoting dialogue and solidarity in the life of the area.
From schools to associations, a daily journey
The objective is to give continuity to membership through education in respect, discussion and participation. In schools, the indicated path aims to convey to younger people the value of empathy and diversity; in cultural initiatives, to counteract prejudices and indifference. A role is also recognized for associations and citizens, through the strengthening of relationships and solidarity in the community.
The national trip involved, among others, Brescia, Modena, Padua and Palermo, before the final appointment in the Umbrian capital.
