The amateur sports association “Energy and rhythm“of the Master Antonio La Torre conquers second place in the third edition of the Calabria Karate Csen Cup, which this year was dedicated to the memory of Cinzia CeravoloPetrizzi’s karateka and originally from Calimera di San Calogero.
The sporting event was held on Sunday 4 May at the Pala Gallo in Catanzaro and was organized by the Calabria Regional Committee of the National Educational Sports Center, the sports promotion body recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee.
Cinzia Ceravolo He disappeared tragically on August 26, 2022 following a dramatic road accident in which he was involved in Liverpool, where he resided and worked in the aeronautical sector for an international company. The event, which saw the participation of 239 athletes with over 500 tenders in the scoreboard, was won by the ASD New Talent, a company based in Girifalco but which operates in several gyms in the Catanzaro area, with 52 medals (17 golden, 18 silver and 17 bronze), while the Asd Energia and rhythm of the master La Torre was the first Vibonese team, with 27 medals (10 gold, 8 of silver and 9 Bronze, while the third step of the podium conquered the Cosenza Asd Ciccio Mollos Gym of Torano Castello with 17 medals (8 golden, 4 silver and 5 bronze).
