There Council of the Calabria Region, in today’s session, approved the planning act for the dematerialisation and substitute conservation of the medical records of the health and hospital companies of the Calabria Region.

The deliberative act was proposed by the vice president, with responsibility for the Digital Transition, Filippo Pietropaolo. To implement the national strategy – it is written in the resolution -, as foreseen by the three-year plan for IT in public administration, the Calabria Region, with resolution of the extraordinary commissioner n. 30 of 12 September 2024, adopted the three-year Digital Health Plan for the years 2024-2026, a programmatic document of the Calabria Region, compliant with the three-year Plan for the Public Administration and the guidelines of the Guidelines for digital growth of the Calabria Region 2022- 2025. The Guidelines constitute the strategic document for the digital transformation of the PA, with a view to simplification and standardization of processes and procedures, in order to ensure, through innovation and technological evolution, procedural homogeneity in the territory, to improve the access and use of services by users, in areas considered of strategic interest such as digital healthcare.

On the proposal of the councilor for work and tourism, Giovanni Calabrese, the council then decided to promote, in synergy with the other measures already activated in the tourism sector, the sustainable use of the “sea resource”, through actions aimed at deseasonalizing the offer, in order to guarantee additional reception services with positive effects on the employment levels of companies in the sector, beyond the bathing season tout court, for the practice of heliotherapy and for complementary activities permitted, in compliance with the provisions of the Plans municipal beach regulations and municipal regulations.
