Now that the bulk of the work has been completed, Filippo Pietropaolo, vice president of the Region with responsibility for Personnel, can say he is satisfied. «By the end of 2024 – he says – we will have completed the recruitment of 812 unitscompleting a truly impressive hiring plan.” The last ones competitions – with a total prize up for grabs 54 seats -, were staged last week and were attended by several hundred people. An initial assessment, pending the definition of the work of the examining commissions on the evaluation of qualifications, can already be drawn. In the IT profile, the suitable people who passed the quiz test were 57 for 20 available places, for the auditors profile 486 suitable for 19 available places, for communication experts 149 suitable and 5 places up for grabs, 58 suitable for 5 slots of agroforestry official, finally, for the statistical profile, 50 suitable for 5 available positions.
«The numbers are what we expected – Pietropaolo makes it clear -. Naturally they are not the huge ones from the Job Centers’ maxi competition. As we went forward, we refined the search for personnel by verifying what the needs of the departments were.” A line that will also be followed in the near future. «We have started the procedures dedicated to a tender to recruit managers, something that hasn’t been done for some time and we are preparing the Notice: we aim to publish it by December».
This procedure, as well as the others already completed, will also be managed by Formez Pa in collaboration with the Civil Service department. «Formez is the subject – adds Pietropaolo – who is holding competitions throughout the PA and therefore the extended times can also be explained in this way. Together with the Civil Service department they gave us a great hand not only in carrying out the competition tests but also in defining the tenders. We had commissions made up of qualified people and not from Calabria. This has guaranteed us maximum transparency and linearity in the procedure, if we exclude a few single appeals managed and taken care of directly by Formez”.
