After a period of commissioner, theItalian Sociologists Association (ASI) He returns to live in Calabria, ready to relaunch his role as a reference point for professionals in the sector. The ASI, the only association of sociologists recognized by the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy (Mimit), stands out for the issue of quality certificates and professional qualification for its members, thus confirming its role of guarantee and excellence in the national scene.
The Calabria Deputation has recently brought together its assembly for the renewal of charges for the three-year period 2025-2028, marking a moment of great importance and renewal. At the helm of this restart there is Antonella Bevacqua, elected president of the Deputation, who has enthusiastically expressed the desire to unite the forces and to work together to strengthen the name of ASI in the region.
The Assembly, coordinated by the Secretary General of ASI, Davide Franceschiello, saw the participation of the national president Antonio Sposito and the vice president Maria Rita Mallamaci. After the votes, the new board has been made official: in addition to the president Bevacqua, they are part of the team Giuseppe Bianco, Maria Vittoria Codispoti, Valentina Ambrosio, Maria Grazia De Giorgio, Maurizio Bonanno, Fiction Rosario, Angela Rita Latella, Antonio Magnone and Rossana Tassone. On the proposal of Maria Vittoria Codispoti, Angela Rita Latella was appointed vice president; then the delegation was assigned:

In his settlement speech, President Bevacqua thanked everyone for the trust and launched an appeal to unity and collaboration: “Let’s put ourselves at work to protect our profession and keep the level of our association high. The Deputation arises from a great dream, that of Antonio Latella, and we have an extra honor and burden in carrying out this inheritance”.
Moments of great emotion characterized the assembly, with interventions that recalled the founder Antonio Latella, a central figure in the history of ASI.
In particular the intervention of Maurizio Bonannoone of the founders of ASI together with the late Antonio Latella. With a moved and proud voice, Bonanno recalled his role as a pioneer and the special bond with Latella, underlining how the association was born to enhance a often underestimated profession. “Those who, however, imagine that associations such as ASI can be opportunities for revenge or personalisms, has made a mistake,” he said with passion, highlighting the importance of keeping faith with the founding values.
National President Antonio Sposito concluded the works with words of hope and encouragement: “The transitory phase, marked by the disappearance of Antonio Latellaended in the most democratic and transparent way possible. Now a new course opens, which we hope will bring even greater successes than those of the first phase of the ASI. Good job to the new managers! “
