The verdicts aren’t there yet, they will arrive shortly, but yesterday was a “hot” day in the Catanzaro Regional Administrative Court. The appeals presented by those who aspire to a seat in the Regional Council despite having been excluded from the initial distribution were discussed before the judges of the Administrative Court. Among them the current deputy mayor of Catanzaro, Giusy Iemma, represented by the lawyer Oreste Morcavallo, other former regional councilors such as Francesco De Nisi and Michele Comito as well as the Northern League member Franco Sarica. Yesterday’s news also included the discussion of the legal action brought by Salvatore Gateano, again assisted by the lawyer Morcavallo, to obtain the title of third most voted candidate on the Occhiuto President list in the central constituency against Frank Santacroce. In any case, everything depends on the interpretation of the electoral law and whether or not the thresholds are exceeded.
