Ready urns and suspended climate in Calabria: today and tomorrow we vote for the regional ones a year in advance after the resignation of Roberto Occhiuto in July. The three candidates and sides
The center -right proposes Roberto Occhiuto, supported by a large coalition (including Forza Italia, Brothers of Italy, Lega, We Moderates, UDC, South Call Nord and the civic lists with its name). The progressive front focuses on Pasquale Tridico, MILLEMENTAL MEP M5S, supported by the 5 Star Movement, Democratic Party, Green and Left Alliance, Italy Viva and the Democratic and Progressive Lists and “Tridico President”. Third in the race Francesco Toscano, leader of popular sovereign democracy, who claims an alternative proposal to the two poles.
In 2021 Roberto Occhiuto won with 44.3%, in front of Amalia Bruni (27.7%), Luigi de Magistris (16.1%) and Mario Oliverio (1.7%).
Programs, vote and night of the bare
Among the proposals, Roberto Occhiuto has relaunched a “merit income” for students who choose Calabrian universities and maintain an average of 27. Pasquale Tridico offers a 500 euro “dignity income” for employees. Francesco Toscano insists on the distance from the duel between the other two candidates, defined as “two faces of the same medal”.
