Not just a budget, but a projection. Not a closure, but a relaunch in perspective. And it is precisely with a broad, open and, above all, focus on the future that the “finissage” for the Strait Biennale was developed, a cultural project with multiple facets, with numerous inputs that along the two lines “The three water lines” and “The cities of the future” gave life to a container from which comparisons, ideas and suggestions were born and which attracted the public for special occasions, especially within the majestic walls of the Batteria Siacci fort in Campo Calabro. And the main location of the route, of which deus ex machina are Mariangela Cama, Alfonso Femia and Francesca Moraci, it was also the place where the common thread was knotted on the label with the words 2026 imprinted on it. And the future for the Biennale was discussed to continue to throw the heart beyond the obstacle, to outline the effects of an “extraordinary progression of the minds that live in these places and of those who have come to exchange and share opinions”, as “photographed” by Moraci’s considerations. And, beyond the usual thanks that Alfonso Femia And Salvatore Vermiglio they wanted to address to all those who, at various levels and with various roles, have contributed to the success of this 2024 edition of the Strait Biennale and have embraced its innovative vision, the message conveyed by this “goodbye dialogue”, has came to life in the words of Ilario Tassonepresident of the Oappc of Reggio Calabria.
