This morning, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Cosenza served the notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations issued by the Prosecutor’s Office of Castrovillari against a 65-year-old under investigation for complicity in the murder of Donato Bergamini, a young professional footballer of Cosenza football team, which occurred on 18 November 1989.
The act arises from the outcome of complex investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Castrovillari and carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Cosenza, regarding the events that occurred on 18 November 1989 in Roseto Capo Spulico, the date and place in which the death of the aforementioned Bergamini, better known by the nickname Denis, occurred.
