“No relation.” This is what emerged during the press conference held at the electoral headquarters by the mayoral candidate, Anna De Gaio. The passage has a particular meaning: there are over three thousand votes left in the field of free will. The last days of the electoral campaign will be decisive for those who will have to decide whether to continue on the centre-left path (the candidate for the tricolor band is Ernesto Bello) or whether the time has come to change the administrators of Castrovillari. Present at the press point were, among others, the regional councilor for Agriculture, Gianluca Gallo; the regional councilor, Riccardo Rosa, then the citizen coordinator of Forza Italia, Carletto Lo Prete; the coordinator of Fratelli d’Italia, Gianfranco Milanese; the leaders of “Citizen Action”, Biagio Schifino and of “Freedom is Democracy”, Enzo Chiaramonte. There was a unanimous desire to return to government, after 14 years of the centre-left; an objective that De Gaio wants to achieve together with the “allies” and with the “strong” Forza Italia party.
