Catania: Mother scolds her, 26-year-old tries to throw her out of window

Her mother scolds her for the mess in the house and she, a 26 year old with a history of domestic abuse, first attacks her with punches and slaps and then grabs her by the hips and tries to push her out of the kitchen window of their home, an apartment on the fifth floor of a building in the populous Librino district. The woman was saved by her youngest daughter, aged 10, who placed herself between her and her sister, also suffering injuries. Mother and daughter were treated in the emergency room of the San Marco hospital where the doctors alerted the police. The military personnel of the Arma recorded the victim’s account of the incident, who filed a complaint and immediately began searching for the 26-year-old who was at home. The woman was taken to the barracks. The judicial authorities ordered the precautionary measure of prohibiting her from approaching the injured parties.
