Identification of the subjects present

In the first circle, 14 subjects were identified, some of whom had police records. In the second circle, however, 30 people were identified, also with police records, including a person with multiple criminal convictions.

Gambling prevention and protection of minors

The activity is part of the initiatives organized by the Catanzaro Police Commissioner aimed at strengthening administrative controls, with particular and constant attention to the protection of minors, considered a priority, and to the prevention of pathological gambling. In this context, supervisory action is aimed at combating any form of exposure of young people to potentially harmful practices, as well as preventing and curbing phenomena linked to gambling addiction.

The new Table of Forbidden Games

These interventions are further strengthened by the recent adoption by the Catanzaro Police Commissioner of the new Table of Prohibited Games, which came into force last June, which represents a fundamental tool for strengthening controls and guaranteeing a safer environment.

The level of attention of the State Police on economic and commercial activities remains high, with the priority objective of protecting minors and preventing the risks associated with gambling, while ensuring full compliance with current legislation and the protection of the entire community.
