One person arrested and three under investigation. This is the outcome of an operation by the State Police of Catanzaro which, at the conclusion of an investigative activity coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, carried out a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge at the Court of the capital against a person suspected of possession and dealing of narcotic substances. The investigation, developed by the staff of the Flying Squad, made it possible – according to what was disclosed – to document a systematic trafficking of narcotic substances in one of the main drug dealing squares of the city, located in the “Pistoia” district, particularly exposed to phenomena of urban decay and widespread crime.
During the same operation, the State Police served three warnings to as many recipients believed to be involved in the same illicit conduct and detained for other reasons.
