An expert appointed by the investigating judge of the Court of Catanzaro will clarify the causes of the death of the twenty-two-year-old Beatrice Celia found lifeless on the night between 16 and 17 March 2024 inside the house where she lived with her mother in Catanzaro. This is what was decided yesterday during the evidentiary hearing. The task has been entrusted to the expert Massimo Rizzo who will have the task, «after examining the documentation in the documents», of establishing the time and causes of Beatrice’s death. He will have to establish in particular whether this was self-induced or caused by other people who remain unknown to the state. The starting point should be the histological and genetic analyzes which in the expert report the consultant, Professor Stefano Tambuzzi of the University of Milan, had indicated as fundamental for clarifying the causes of death. The reports made by the RIS on some garments will also be available to the expert. Sixty days to complete his work then Massimo Rizzo will return to the courtroom on March 18th, when exactly two years have passed since that tragic night, to explain his conclusions to the parties.
