In recent days, the network agreement was signed between CNA Catanzaro and the PTP institute “Grimaldi, Petrucci, Pacioli, Ferraris, Maresca” of Catanzaro. The intent is to create an integrated training chain: a system of high professional and technological specialization based on the needs of companies.
Crafts and schools are increasingly collaborating to reduce the mismatch between job supply and demand.

Concrete step

The president of CNA Catanzaro Giovanna Rita Vono declared: “The signing of the network agreement is a concrete step to train young people with a training profile oriented to the needs of companies, young people who can be rewarded by a rapid entry into the world of work and companies that can count on ready workers. Today only 11 percent of companies manage to find profiles suited to the needs of the job.”

The route

The network agreement is part of a school reform which aims to articulate professional paths according to the 4+2 model: four years of general and technical training, followed by two years dedicated to deepening professional skills and entry into the world of work.
This new structure, designed to strengthen the employability of graduates and the correspondence between studies and production needs, represents an important training opportunity for the students of the dental technician branch of the Maresca branch, who from the next school year will have the possibility to choose the new 4+2 path.

Integrated training

PTP manager Elisabetta Zaccone expressed satisfaction with the partnership, underlining how professional training integrated with the local productive fabric can provide effective responses to the employment and training challenges that young people face today. For dental technician students, this network represents an important bridge towards the world of work, enhancing manual and technical skills and aligning them with the expectations of artisan and healthcare companies.

The project

With the signing of this network agreement, CNA Catanzaro and the PTP Grimaldi-Pacioli-Petrucci-Ferraris-Maresca are implementing a concrete project of integration between school training and the productive world for the dental technician, confirming how the alliance between educational institutions and business associations is strategic for building quality training courses, oriented to the real needs of the local and national job market.
