The city councilor Stefano Veraldi The opportunity for the Municipality of Catanzaro to adopt a protocol for the detention and management of the dog, on the basis of the positive models already started at national level, submitted to the attention of the commissions. A document that is based on five fundamental pillars: detention, care, stationing, conduction and freedom, and aims to form responsible and aware owners, improving security in the relationship between human beings and dogs, even in the school field.
At the same time, Veraldi also officially filed the proposal to activate the educational project called “6 -legged”, aimed at primary and elementary school students of the Community territoryAnd. The request, addressed in particular to the presidents of the second and fourth council commission, is aimed at launching an initiative in Catanzaro, already successfully experienced in other realities, which aims to teach children to interpret the language and signs of dogs, promoting a safe coexistence and respectful with pets.
“Sensitizing the administration and whole citizenship on the importance of these initiatives – underlines Veraldi – is the first step in offering a valid educational contribution to our students. Forming the new generations on how to take care of animals represents not only a signal of civilization and ethical sharing, but also a useful commitment to prevent the risk of accidents or aggressive behaviors by four -legged friends”.
