Art turns into the first edition of the Celico International Art Festival, an unmissable event scheduled from 24 to 31 May 2025.
Tomorrow, Friday 9 May 2025, the Teatro Institute Comprehensive Spezzano Sila Celico will host, at 12:00, the press conference for the presentation of the week of events included in the calendar of the Co-Diretto Festival by Donato Santeramo and Antonio Nicaso.
Together with the mayor of Celico Matteo Lettieri, the first citizen of Cosenza Franz Caruso will speak; the proreor of the University of Calabria Francesco Raiolo; Professor Bruno Roberti, professor of Cinema at the Degree Course in Media and Digital Society University of Calabria and Antonio Nicaso university professor and essayist. Fabio Vincenzi moderate the works.
A week full of free appointments distributed in four different locations: the Celico theater of Celico, the Unical Auditorium Theater, the Citrigno Cinema and Cams Unical.
The public will be able to explore the frontiers of cinema, visual arts and metamorphic visions, in a path that invites you to immerse yourself in worlds in constant evolution. A crossroads of creativity and innovation with the works of directors, visionary artists from all over the world.
Among the most anticipated guests, the internationally renowned director David Cronenberg, master of cinema who has revolutionized the horror genre with cult films that explore the mutations of the soul and the body. The Canadian screenwriter and producer will be present at the inaugural day of the Festival, will direct a masterclass and attend the screening of some of his films.
There will be, theatrical performances with a profound look aimed at the transformations of identity and reality and a tribute to Dario Fo and Franca Rame and music, with melodies, songs and notes of the past.
The press conference will be an opportunity to reveal every single detail and provide information on shows, appointments and times.
