In the mega state universities, with over 40 thousand members, the first two positions of the Censis university ranking are employed permanently this year also by the University of Padua, first with a total score of 90.3, followed by the University of Bologna (87.7).
The University of Pisa rises in third position which with 84.7 total points scale 3 positions in the ranking, overcoming the wisdom of Rome which descends to fourth place (84.2) ex aequo with the State University of Milan which compared to last year earns a position. The University of Florence (last year in eighth position) rises to fifth place with the score of 83.5, followed by the University of Turin (83.0, +1 position) and by the University of Palermo (82.3, -3 positions). The University of Bari (75.7) returns among the mega universities, which is in the penultimate position, preceding the University of Naples Federico II (75.5), which closes the ranking.
Unical in the first place in the ranking of great state universities
Among the large state universities (from 20,000 to 40,000 members), the University of Calabria remains at the top with a total score of 94.3higher than that of the University of Pavia (90.2), also stable in second position. Third in the ranking is the University of Perugia (89.3), followed by that of Parma (88.8) and that of Cagliari (87.5). Equally stable, in the sixth and seventh place, the University of Salerno (86.2) and the University of Milan Bicocca (85.3), to which the University of Genoa (+ 2 positions) and Rome Tor Vergata is acted, which share the eighth position with a total score of 84.8 on an equal footing. The University of Modena Reggio Emilia (84.3) follows, stable compared to last year. The positions between the tenth and fourteenth place are the result of progressions achieved by some universities, such as: the University of Verona (83.0, tenth, +1 position), the University of Rome Tre (82.7, eleventh, +3 positions), the University of Ferrara (81.0, twelfth, +1 position), the University of Catania (80.7, thirteenth, +5 positions). The University of Chieti and Pescara (80.0, fourteenth, +3 positions). They qualify as fifteenth and sixteenth university of Messina (79.3) and the University of Campania (78.7), which close the ranking.
