If it’s not a miracle, we’re close to it. Bad accident this evening on the SP 171/2, at km 21.350, in the municipal area of Chiaravalle Centrale, which involved a Fiat Panda Cross. For reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle which, after breaking through the guardrail, fell down an embankment with a difference in height of over 15 metres. The driver, who suffered minor trauma but was visibly distressed, was entrusted to the care of 118 healthcare personnel and subsequently transferred to a hospital for the necessary investigations and evaluations. The firefighters of the Catanzaro provincial command, Chiaravalle Centrale detachment, were on site. The Carabinieri of the Chiaravalle Central Station were also present for their duties.
