In the late afternoon yesterday, the first stone of the building of Cirò Marina’s public security was placed, in the presence of the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior Hon. Wanda Ferroaccompanied by the Quaestor of the Province of Crotone Renato Panvinofrom the Prefect of Crotone Dr. Franca Ferraror, by the mayor of Cirò Marina Sergio Ferrari and by the regional councilor Stefania Caracciolo.
They greeted the beginning of the works, for the realization of the work, with extreme favor and satisfaction national authorities, including honorable parliamentarians of the Italian Republic, the Bishop Mons. Alberto Torriani and the mayors of the neighboring municipalities, with tricolor band.
The future garrison was strongly desired by the Chief of Police – General Manager of Public Security – Prefect Vittorio Pisani.
The realization of the work was supported and carried out, with conviction, by the State Police and the municipal administration of Cirò Marina in a synergistic work, finding the support of the Calabria Region and the leaders of the Ministry of the Interior, on the occasion represented by the Hon. Wanda Ferro, Calabrian and strong supporter for the creation of legality principals in Calabria.
The laying of the first stone symbolizes the start of a work that will represent the place where citizens can find listening, help and protection and where women and men of the State Police, with professionalism and dedication, will commit themselves daily to guarantee public order, protect citizens’ rights and respond to their needs.
The ceremony ended with the cutting of the ribbon by the authorities e With the blessing of the structure, the Bishop Mons. Torriani accompanied by the chaplain of the State Police Don Ezio Limina.
At the end of the ceremony, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior honorable Wanda Ferro, accompanied by the Quaestor and other political authorities, paid tribute to the agents of the State Police, a reinforcement rate sent by the Department of Public Security to the Crotone Police Headquarters, to implement the security services of the territory in the summer period in the places crowded by the numerous tourists.
