Drug deals in a big way. In the Marconi district the nomad gang was dealing; The supplies of narcotics departed from the Concessa di Catona hamlet. The criminal business that on Tuesday brought 31 people to prison (and one woman under house arrest only because she was in an advanced state of pregnancy) developed in the drug dealing square in southern Reggio – the “Saletta” in Via Sbarre Superiore where for months the “Narcotics” sleuths of the Flying Squad monitored and recorded a dizzying coming and going of drug addicts of every age group, including minors, and social background, young people without a minimum of employment but also professionals – and the rampant drug traffickers based north of the city already caught in the “Oikos” raid.
