The resolution that starts the process for the “scrapping” of local taxes has been approved by the council. The news was given by the mayor Flavio Stasi himself through a video on his social channels. The decision, as the mayor himself explains, was well thought out and comes at the end of a series of requests coming from various quarters, both from the opposition, but also from the majority itself and from trade associations to give relief to families and businesses that have to bear an increasingly heavy fiscal burden.
The decision was taken, as explained by Mayor Stasi, after a discussion with the municipal offices, above all to verify whether the municipal body could financially support the “scrapping”, without affecting the important balances of the municipal budget.
